Why should you test?
People get the Ironclad Panel when they have symptoms or risk factors for too little or too much iron, because no single test can diagnose iron problems on its own. This panel helps identify iron deficiency anemia, anemia of chronic disease, malabsorption, chronic blood loss, or genetic iron overload (hemochromatosis). It’s also used when someone has fatigue, hair loss, weakness, restless legs, pale skin, or unexplained inflammation — or when monitoring treatment for low or high iron.
